The sole purpose of a cable is to ensure that your instrument, amplifier or microphone will sound exactly as it was intended to sound, while minimizing noise interference and signal deterioration. We achieve this by using only the best oxygen-free copper cabling, premium-grade connectors and superior build quality.
One of the most important attributes of a good cable is its durability, and we strive to make our cables as durable and reliable as possible. As a touring musician and long time studio owner, I have used thousands of cables in a professional setting, and there is absolutely nothing more frustrating than dealing with poorly built cabling. Well over half of the technical issues I have experienced in the studio or on stage have been caused by a cable failure due to a faulty solder point, a corroded connector, careless construction or brittle wire. By using premium grade cabling, tight fitting gold plated connectors, clear heat shrink insulation, rugged strain relief and TWO stages of quality control inspection, we ensure that our cables are exceptionally durable, reliable and serviceable.
We feel that a quality cable should look and feel good too. The cabling we use is soft and flexible, making it easy to coil and easy to clean. Contrary to popular belief, microphone and instrument cables do not need to be thicker for better sound quality. If anything, a heavier gauge cable may affect the natural tone more so than a standard gauge wire, while being less ergonomic. On the other hand, our speaker cables are built using heavier gauge wire to properly conduct the high signal voltages produced by amplifiers, with minimal resistance and capacitance. We also offer our microphone and instrument cables in a variety of colors and lengths. All cables come in standard lengths, but we also take custom orders with your exact length, color and connector specifications.
